Apostolos Polyzos worked as Certified Public Accountant in the Body of Certified Public Accountants (SOL) from 1984 to 1993. From 1993 until today he has been working at Crowe Greece as Certified Public Accountant, being one of its founders.

Από πολύ νωρίς ανέλαβε ηγετική θέση στις ομάδες ελέγχου που συμμετείχε, ακόμα και πριν την προαγωγή του σε Ορκωτό Ελεγκτή Λογιστή. Από το 2003 είναι  Μέλος του Εποπτικού Συμβουλίου του «Σώματος Ορκωτών Ελεγκτών Λογιστών (ΣΟΕΛ)». Σήμερα είναι Πρόεδρος του Σώματος Ορκωτών Ελεγκτών Λογιστών.

He has participated in numerous training seminars of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Greece, particularly with reference to Accounting, Auditing, the Chart of Accounts and the corresponding Standards, for all the sectors of the Greek economy.

He has been responsible for statutory and optional audits, of numerous companies in the Private and Public sector, listed and unlisted on the stock exchange related to the sectors of holdings, services, trade, construction, IT systems, sports, etc. He has participated in audits of Municipalities and Municipal Enterprises, as well as Cooperative Organizations. He has assisted a variety of acquisitions, mergers, divisions and other accounting issues.

He has studied at the Department of Economics of the University of Macedonia (Former Graduate School of Higher Industrial Studies of Thessaloniki).
