Ioannis Giannopoulos is General Manager of Crowe Greece Advisory and Director of Tax Advisory Services.

During his professional career of twenty years, Ioannis has gained experience in multinationals as a Financial and Tax Advisor specialised in income tax, international tax law, tax planning, M&As and audit procedures in general.

Ioannis has worked as Manager in companies and groups of different business size, in a number of sectors of the economy and in particular in the business industry. Among other things, his work experience includes involvement and supervision of business model restructuring, M&As, both on the buyer's and seller's side, and effective planning of exit strategies projects.

In the past, he has worked also in multinational firms and groups such as Arthur Andersen, Ernst & Young and Hay Group as head of the tax, financial and accounting planning as well as the creation and of the smooth operation of newly established group companies in Greece and in wider Europe region.

Ioannis holds a Bachelor Degree (BSc) in Economic Science from the University of Patras and a Diploma in Computer Programming as well as a degree from the School of Management and Economics of the Accounting Department of the Technological Educational Institute of Patras. He is also a certified tax advisor and a member of the Economic Chamber of Greece.
